Is there a limit to the number of waypoint files that the CNv will see on the USB drive? I have about 20 files on the USB and cannot see them all. I've reloaded them to the USB drive several times and still no luck. I'm using the exact same files that I use on the CNII.

CNv can't see anything other than the root directory...

They are all in the root directory of the usb drive. I can only see 11 of them in the CNv out of about 20 files installed.

There are two limits (I just found this out).
There is a limit of 20 files... and a limit of 20 characters per file name. It is probable that one of your file names is longer than 20 characters.

I am still having trouble with this. I have less than 20 files and the file names are all short but I still can't see a few of them. Any other ideas?
Do I need to delete the old files or does it read them off the usb everytime?

Is there a macintosh involved here...?
If file names are short and don't include any unusual characters, and you don't have any phantom files introduced by a mac, it ought to work.
CNv only reads files from USB. It can't (unfortunately) store any extra waypoint files internally.

Only PC involved and all short file names. My longest file name actually shows up. I'll keep messing with it and see if I can figure something out.

Any chance you can make a zip archive of the usb root folder causing trouble and email it to me?
