I set mine in still air, adding or subtracting until the stick thermals go away. I don't think it is like a zero adjustment. I have also found that when switching to electronic it is best to be in the hanger with no atmosphere moving around.

Got it and I am very happy. Thank you Evan for mentioning the declaration happens as soon as you turn it on. This is not for everybody, but I am declaring the exact same flight for the rest of the season. it will happen one of these days and my workload at launch in nil.

Hey Evan,

New plane, but my setup is the same as my CZ (worked great) - No probe, shares static and pitot with ASI, static with Sage (connected to probe).
I'm seeing 8-9knts on tow instead of actual 5-6. Seemed ok off tow, but not sure.
How should this be compensated? Right now set at zero. Can't remember how I used to have it.

Customer Support / Flarm display on CNII

I recently connected my Power Flarm to my CNII.  So far, the only thing that appears on the display is an airplane symbol.  I can deduce range and azimuth from the display but no other data is displayed, such as altitude.  Am I missing something in the set up?  If not is any improvement  in display options planned for the future?
ClearNav II / CNII re-boot in flight during task
« Last post by Kilo Foxtrot on April 27, 2021, 06:42:38 AM »
While at Perry, I had to switch batteries in mid-task on 2 separate days. In both cases, the CNII re-booted, the Task was preserved, but the metrics were lost. CNII directed me to the start circle, even though I had already achieved 2 turn points. I tried to advance the task on the action page, and could advance to Next Leg. Then I tried to advance another leg, but it still set me on the first leg. (Next leg would be after start). I had to advance through the task on the GoTo button, but had no close idea about timing. Yes, I noted my start time, and I could guess ahead, but that is what a computer is for.

My CNv did not appear to re-boot, it just kept on truckin' . I did not input the task to CNv, just use it as a GO Home backup. My switch is a 3 position, center off, double pole .

I have reported this to Rex, and Vadim is on it. I am curious if others have had a similar experience. I have never had to switch batteries before, as my solar panel has kept up.
But Wx conditions impaired my solar panel!
CNv Discussion / Task in CNv

I get to the page where it says task, then it flashes up "no task entered" and stays there.

One time I saw a page listing tasks, I entered one, but it was not saved. I can't get back to this page which lists tasks and one can enter tasks to save my life.

(Already called Rex)
It's all about to get revised anyway.

I test flew an internal release at Perry last week... nearly ready for public consumption.

Is there a reference for what the adsb cheverons mean? On another thread I saw someone make a suggestion but I can't find anything from CN.
