It's technically possible.  No plans at this time.

You would sell a lot of OAT sensors. I'd really like to have this feature.

Me too (well, I'd most like to have it displayed on the NAV display, but it could be done on CNII as well).  I don't think it's happening because no one else at CN seems to think this is useful.

Hi

Why not make it an option on both and user select-able to be displayed. ( Cnv and CNII)
The reason why it can be very useful is when you carry water and you should dump it before freezing.
In a DG300 we have an old style temp device with capulair probe for this.
In case this would be implemented why not add also a  warning that would pop up when you reach freezing temperature.
I have already seen gliders coming back in spring with a block of ice on the belly.

I've been leaning on our decision makers about this for about two years, so far without tangible result.  I think the thing is: I do a lot of flying near freezing level, especially in Spring, they don't.  Anyhow, I agree.

You can get to the OAT screen on either CNv display in flight, but it's a bit painful.
