CNd and mounting bracket dimensions?
« on: October 05, 2015, 11:09:01 PM »
Hmmm
Why can nowhere dimensions be found?
My friend asked me to do a new panel layout, but without dimensions that's impossible.
If there are any - where are the drawings hidden???

Probably off line at the moment.  Looks like Ken is busy updating the installation support section of the website.  I have an email in to Gary, we'll get you something shortly.

It'd be nice to have a CAD drawing of the various mounts available.
Also for the CNv NAV display.
Needing tunnel mount (including screw holes) and CNv NAV display drawings at the moment.

I agree
I could not have done my new instrument panel layout without the tunnel mount at hand. Another way would be to have 1:1 printable pdf layouts as for example provided by Schleicher Segelflugzeugbau http://www.alexander-schleicher.de/en/service/instrumentenbrett-layout/

Hi

I created 57mm instruments and put a picture on them.
Then you can start playing around with them on  your panel untill you are satisfied.
You can see red lines on the drawing. This was the limit I could use to put instruments before the Tunnel mounted CN.
The tunnel mount is part of my panel that is made of Epoxy printed circuit board.
In this way I could gain the extra mm to get everything in.
