When the last issue is finally nailed down, will you be shipping enough CNIIs to meet the pent up, already-ordered demand all at once or will be wait-listed?

The remaining issues, as explained to me, are all in the software domain.  It's to do with some of the fussy details regarding sealing and calibration (this involves the IGC recorder certification folks as well, of course).  What appears to be the most likely scenario is a couple of weeks total elapsed time to get the final code implemented, tested and blessed by all involved, at which point we can load software, calibrate barographs, seal the units and ship ready to go,  igc approved and sealed.  The hardware is on the shelf.

CNII has IGC approval for all flights, including world records, as of today.

I am pleased to announce IGC-approval for the ClearNav II GNSS Flight
Recorder
for "all flights" including world records.

The IGC-approval document may be
downloaded from the FAI/IGC web site or
the GFAC web site, see below.

There
are now 51 different types of IGC-approved Flight Recorders from
18 different
manufacturers.

If you own or fly with one of these, it is recommended that
you download
its latest IGC-approval document from one of the web sites given
below,
and to note any changes that may affect the way that you operate
it.

A table of all IGC-approved Flight Recorders can also be downloaded,

with links to individual IGC-approval documents for each type of
Recorder.
At the end of the table is a list of IGC-approval activity by
date, and a
description of the history of GNSS recording in IGC,
together with pictures of
some early Recorders.

The document with
the tables contains:

(1) a table of all types of IGC-approved Flight
Recorders in

(3) a list of all
IGC-approval activity from 1996 to the present day.

(4) a history of IGC GNSS
Flight Recording.

Scroll

then click on
the box underneath the above heading which says:
"IGC-approval Documents for

This will call up a list of documents,
the first one being "IGC-approval
tables" with links to individual Approval
documents.

This is followed by individual IGC-approval documents in
alphabetical
order of manufacturer's name.  Scroll down to the Recorder type
and
click on its name.  The IGC-approval document will then download

automatically to the directory that you have set for downloads, without

being displayed on screen first.

follows test and evaluation by the IGC GNSS Flight Recorder
Approval Committee
(GFAC) in accordance with Annex B to the Sporting
Code for gliding and the
Technical Specification for IGC-approved GNSS
Flight Recorders.
