Evan T8 help
« on: May 19, 2020, 02:38:07 PM »
#711 here. My xc igc file shows numerous engine run times, but I have no engine. My Flarm lucky for me showed the flight. What's up with this?

Best. Tom. 711.

The high ENL is clearly associated with take off roll and landing roll.

OLC problems, again?  I could get to dislike those guys...

It happened inflight around 20:58;15 or so.....and then several more times after that. I did not post the xc igc on the OLC, used the FlarmIGC file.

Last XC IGC was fine....now this one shows engine run at 149 miles..........whats up with that?

I don't see this in SeeYou.  Max ENL 5xx on take off roll, 4xx on landing roll.  In flight all < 150.

Whatever analysis program is showing "engine run" isn't working properly.

Your flarm has no ENL detection (just looked...).

I put it on Crosscountry aero, no problem. It only has a problem when opened with Seeyou. Methinks they (Naviter has a major problem with screwing up your version with a bug) so you have to buy an update to fix it.

I also opened it with notepad and it shows ok.

Or maybe you're lonely and just needed some enchantment time with a friend............thank you.

Lol.  I would enjoy being in the land of enchantment right now, given the evident existence of a willing tow operation (that looked like a fun flight).

I use SeeYou 7.something or other.  If they would provide actual usable features, or fix their cruddy godawful UI, I'd upgrade, but til then, 7 it is.

Hoping to hear that our towplane is airworthy this evening.  Of course, I've been hoping that same hope for a while.
